The conference theme has convergence as an organizing framework that can amplify the most exciting current developments in environmental engineering. Convergence is fostered by the diverse education and research of the Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Proofessors (AEESP) community. Members of the community are also engaged in research and education that address grand challenges in environmental engineering identified in the recent NASEM report “Environmental Engineering for the 21st Century.”
