The Iowa Water Center Initiatives

The Iowa Water Center (IWC) serves in a leadership or capacity-building role for statewide and regional initiatives beyond our core research administration and coordination activities. These initiatives include signature IWC activities as well as adjacent or external projects and programs that directly impact water or water management in Iowa. Initiatives listed on this page support the Iowa Water Center’s mission to advance water science to meet Iowa’s water resource needs by building team capacity for science and technology transfer in targeted areas, providing accessible venues for water information dissemination, and training the next generation of water scientists.
